Emily Garth

Emily Anne Garth began her career at the age of 5 on TV and stage, later studying a Bachelor of Music & Performance at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This combined with her natural talent has resulted in Emily having a dynamic career in the world of opera and cabaret, with stints in musical theatre and an impressive teaching studio for young performers.

Early in Emily's career, she was employed as a resident singer on a cruise ship, which sailed to Antarctica, Galapagos and Easter Islands just to name a few. Emily starred in a variety of production shows and solo recitals of classical music and became known for her versatility and for the quality of her voice. This experience set the foundation for a solo career with the top cruise liners around the world and ongoing engagements with Opera Australia. Since 2009, productions with Opera Australia have included Puccini's Madame Butterfly, Verdi's La Traviata and Bizet's Carmen.

For 15 years Emily performed a solo cabaret show aboard various luxury cruise liners, such as Cunard, Seaborn and Regent, with regular spots on the bigger ships of Royal Caribbean, Princess, NCL and Celebrity, singing a mixture of opera, cabaret and musical theatre.

When not touring overseas, Emily’s long-running show toured Australia, performing at regional theatres across the country. Emily also toured for 7 years with The Australian Tenors, Mark Vincent and Ian Cooper for the Andre Rieu show.
